Although we organize the ministry under the umbrella of Youth for Christ, our ministry team members operate programs in our communities called Campus Life. Students know our ministry team as their local Campus Life Directors. Our Campus Life Directors are afforded the great privilege of working with our area youth because of your prayers, financial support and participation. YFC programming provides young people with a place to be heard, a place to be open and honest, a place where they can be nurtured in their faith and develop friends who want to do the same. Campus Life is effective in reaching middle school and high school teens in their world; it gives us a strategic way to pursue every young person at local schools in our communities. Campus Life ministry combines healthy relationships with creative programs to help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact their schools. Campus Life encourages a balanced life – mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially. Like every ministry of YFC, Campus Life seeks to engage these young people wherever they are found as life-long followers of Jesus Christ. Your support makes you part of that! You may not experience it first hand, but you are making a difference. Many teens today don’t know who Jesus is and we want to share the message they need to hear. Here at Youth for Christ we strive to incorporate 5 essential concepts into our ministry to help bring about real change in a young person’s life.
· Widespread Prayer – We deliberately engage lots of Christians to intercede on behalf of the ministry. · Loving Relationships – We consistently pursue lost kids & engage them in life-long relationships with Jesus. · Faithful Bible Teaching – We accurately handle Biblical truth, regularly coaching kids to apply it in their lives. · Collaborative Community Strategy – We intentionally work together with local churches, agencies and other partners to provide sustainable youth and family ministry. · Adults Who Empower – We strategically develop leaders to reach young people from every people group.
These 5 Essentials serve as a guideline for us to build a vibrant and effective ministry in our local communities.
